Although I began meditation around eleven years of age and had practiced Zen and Tibetan Buddhist techniques I became a teacher of Transcendental Meditation under the direct guidance of it's founder Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, finalizing my training in March of 1972. In 1973 I became his personal assistant for some time and in subsequent years received additional instruction and teachings. I have spent decades studying Vedic literature, Buddhist teachings, philosophy and religion.
It is from the above background that I offer personalized meditation instruction, meditation techniques, and spiritual teaching to promote a clear understanding of mystical experiences, and Enlightenment. I have taught thousands students and engage personally with each, this traditional teaching method helps maximize the opportunity for spiritual growth. No belief or religious systems are involved. It may be helpful to watch my Buddha at the Gas Pump interview prior to contacting me.
We are at a critical moment in time, in the midst of great change and possibility. Climate, social, and political change along with a spiritual revolution are laying the seeds for our worlds future. The outcome of which is up to us. If we truly want to secure a bright and positive future then it is imperative to raise the general level of consciousness for all human-beings as quickly as possible. Personally, as much as I enjoy teaching meditation and helping others to come to Enlightenment, I am not attached to the "how" of that. What is important is that the student find the right person to work with. This is why I have added a page at the end of this website listing a few teachers that I highly respect and are well qualified to help most anyone Awaken.

A Mystic Life is an eclectic brain dump of stories from my life, written not to tell you how wonderful I am, rather because I am not in fact, special. They are written so that you may see that all our lives hold infinite possibilities, that it is up to us to discover our potential and live life to the fullest.
So much has been written about mystical experiences, meditation, higher consciousness, and enlightenment that it is virtually impossible to not be redundant. This book tells some of my experiences and thoughts around that subject. I spent nearly fifty years studying and being with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who informed my spiritual life. Along the way, I met other saints, sages, and teachers and had the good fortune to spend some time with them. Having a "normal" life does not disqualify us from having a mystic life.
